Today is my daughters 8th Birthday. All day I kept asking myself
"where did the time go?" It seemed to have just flown by.
One minute I was huge and pushing with all my might and the
next thing I know I am sitting at a table at the Villa Basque Cafe
watching my little girl eat her lunch. Which by the way was a
Mickey Mouse pancake. We have been so blessed that the Lord chose us
to raise this precious little lamb of His. I just pray that the next eight years
don't fly by like the last have seemed to do.
Last weekend we had a birthday party for our little girl.
There were about 24 kids celebrating with us.
E's friend from her "old" school was there too. 
The theme was spring time celebration.
We had fresh flowers on some of the tables and
candles on the other ones.
Her menu:
Hot Dogs
Watermelon
Green Salad
Chips
Strawberries
Veggies and Ranch Dip
RootBeer and Lemonade
For dessert she helped me make Triple-Citrus Cupcakes.
Everyone loved them but of course Grandpa Steve said,
"You put spinach in these cupcakes". He ate it anyway.

The Triple Citrus Cupcakes (from Martha Stewart) had a glaze on top of them and inside the glaze was lime zest...hense the spinach joke. I will add that they were very tasty and well worth the calories.
