Father's Day

Every year I give my husband (aka father of my children)

the choice as to what he wants to do to celebrate

Father's Day. Almost every year it ends up being

our first camping weekend. This year he decided

he didn't want to go camping he just wanted to go to

Lahonton or the "brown lake" as the kids refer to it.

So on Saturday he dewinterized the boat and got it

all ready for our day trip. As one of his gifts I told him

that we did not have to take our dog Sally with us.

He said that was the best gift I could have given him.

Of course our friends brought their dog so it wasn't a

wet dog free day completely but we had fun. (Until my husband

some how broke his toe. Oh the drama!)

Happy Father's Day Honey!!!!

That's my man in the cowboy hat

lugging the cooler down the beach

with his buddy.

Here are the girls playing around with

a bucket. Hey girls whachya doing???

EEEWWW!! They were playing with a dead

fish that the boys found in the water. And their

bowl of choice is a watermelon rind. We didn't have

watermelon today! Gross, you never know what

you are going to find at that beach.

Quick Bon get out the extra strength hand sanitizer!!!

The brown lake. Scariest lake in the world! But super fun....

On top of that my kids were drinking out of a water bottle today that we did not bring! Too bad you can't sanitize their insides, too! UGH!

Your girls look like the campbells soup kids with their haicuts, it is soooo cute! *if* I had a daughter she would totally have that hair. Sorry Dan broke his toe, have fun at grandpa and grandma's cabin!
