Take me out to the ball game

Well Baseball season has officially started. Ricky is playing in the farm league this year and Emily is trying her hand at T-Ball. Our dilemma was now that both kids are playing ball they are going to be at different sections of Governor's field.
Our solution: "Grandpa will you be my coach?". Who could say no to Emily's sweet face. Of course Grandma gets talked into being team manager. Go Giants! Go Yankees!

Growing up Dan never played baseball. I think he is getting pretty good at playing catch with his kids!

Catching up #2

Yes, Danny finally caved and we got a dog.
Sally Mae at 7 weeks old.

It snowed about a week later. She loves

to play with the kids.

She also loves napping with them.

Emily and I went hat and wig shopping with

my mother-in-law Donna.This was Donna's

favorite hat.

"Get this wig Grandma"

Catching up #1

After a 9 year hiatus Dan decided he needed to
go hunting again with his buddy Chris.
My freezer's (yes, two of them) are full of
duck. The only thing you can make with it is Jerky.
Duck Jerky Anyone???

This year Ricky (3rd grade) was able to sign up

for the ski program at school. The first

day we all went.

Life of a business owner.

"Mom I'm cold"

Diamond Peak was having a special this week.

All first time skiers got a lesson and rentals for

only $25. So after 32 years I finally strapped on

ski's. We talked Emily (1st grade) into trying it by

telling her that if she fell she didn't have that far to go,

but if mommy fell I would have a long fall. So

she kept reminding me "If you fall mommy you

will go splat"! Thanks for the encouragement.

Hello Technology!

Okay, certain things just scare the daylights out of me and believe it or not the thought of blogging is one of them. Yes I love to look at other peoples pages and to connect with them and their lives at all hours of the day and night. To do it myself really makes my insecurities come out. Will I be creative enough? Will anyone want to see what I have to post? Will I sound like an idiot? Just to name a few. I have decided to ignore all those scary and ugly things that have come to my mind and ,like the Nike ad says, JUST DO IT! So it might take me a while to figure out how to blog and how to post pictures but I will work on it. So Hello Technology here I come!!
